Katie Taylor retired after dominating Flora Pili by unanimous decision at Croke Park in Dublin, becoming undisputed junior welterweight champion for the second time in front of over 80,000 fans. The Irish Olympic gold medalist from the 2012 London Games capped a remarkable career with this perfect ending.

With Taylor's retirement, Caroline Dubois returned to the top 10 of the pound-for-pound rankings following her unanimous decision victory over Amelia Moore on Aug. 29 in Birmingham, England. On that same card, Chantelle Cameron defeated Mikaela Mayer to unify three of the four major junior welterweight titles, moving up to No. 3 while Mayer remained at No. 6.

Amanda Serrano earned the 50th victory of her professional career by defeating Lucrecia Manzur by majority decision on Aug. 21, but couldn't secure the knockout needed to break Christy Martin's record with 32 knockouts. Serrano stays at No. 4.
