The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are set to launch tomorrow in China, with Xiaomi revealing detailed camera specifications and sample photos ahead of the event. Both devices feature Leica 200MP primary rear cameras with a 1/1.28 inch sensor, paired with 200MP periscope telephoto cameras using a 1/1.56 inch sensor. The periscope lens offers an f/2.4 aperture, 3.2x optical zoom, 75mm native focal length, and macro focusing down to 12cm.

Xiaomi claims the telephoto camera on the 18 Pro captures 280% more light than the 17 Pro, while the 18 Pro Max delivers 83% higher light intake than its predecessor. Sample images from both main and telephoto cameras have been shared on Weibo. The upcoming flagships will also include an upgraded rear display, hardware-level privacy display, larger batteries, and are expected to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.
