Xiaomi has revealed its flagship 18 Pro series will debut in China on September 23 with a hardware-level privacy display, upgraded rear display, Hyper OS 4, and several hardware improvements. The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max feature a new M11 luminescent panel claimed to be 20 percent more efficient than the previous generation, offering a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and ultra thin 0.99mm bezels. Available in Black, Galaxy Blue, and White, the phones pack substantial batteries—the 18 Pro with a 7,000mAh unit and the 18 Pro Max with an 8,500mAh battery.

Both models include Leica branded triple rear camera setups with a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The series is confirmed to be powered by a 2nm chipset, likely Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Xiaomi's hardware-level privacy display mirrors the technology seen on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, marking a significant upgrade in both display efficiency and privacy features for the brand's latest flagship lineup.
