Motorola and parent company Lenovo announced Qira, their shared personal AI assistant, at CES. While Qira has been available on some Lenovo devices, it is now expanding to more Motorola smartphones via the Android 17 update. The rollout begins with the Edge 70 Max and will extend to Signature, Razr, and Edge series phones.

Qira offers a unified AI experience across Motorola and Lenovo devices, enabling users to interact via voice, text, or media. It can transcribe and summarize conversations, set reminders, create images and avatars, generate wallpapers from patterns, summarize notifications, and complete tasks contextually across devices. Motorola describes Qira as a 'single AI experience that spans across Motorola and Lenovo products', enhancing productivity and creativity for work and play.

The feature maintains context when switching between devices, ensuring seamless continuity. Qira’s broader availability marks a significant step in Motorola’s AI integration strategy, leveraging Lenovo’s ecosystem to deliver consistent intelligent assistance across its product lines.
