The company today shared a new video promoting iOS 27’s expanded parental controls, while also confirming a bug fix update is coming next week for iPhone 18 Pro users experiencing Face ID rebooting and AT&T call issues. A small number of AT&T customers have reported failing calls on the new device, and Apple is testing iOS 27.0.1 to address the problems. The Face ID rebooting bug will be fixed in the upcoming update, according to Apple.

iPhone 18 Pro & iOS 27

In a one-week review, the iPhone 18 Pro is described as “zero compromises,” offering a polished experience across camera, battery, and performance. iOS 27 now lets users create custom wallpapers directly on the iPhone, and a new comparison pits iOS 27’s AI photo editing against Adobe Photoshop, with Apple’s built-in tools proving surprisingly capable for object removal and adjustments. Meanwhile, users running mac OS 27 can remove Apple Intelligence models to reclaim storage space, as disabling the feature alone doesn’t free up downloaded files.

A new buyer’s guide compares the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra, helping users decide whether to upgrade. The AirPods Pro 3 are on sale for $199 on Amazon this week, a $50 discount. In deals, a 24GB M5 MacBook Air is $150 off, the Apple Watch Ultra is $200 off, and a Beats cable is down to $7.50. Amazon and B&H are battling for the best price on the M5 MacBook Pro, with a deal at $1,849.

Qualcomm and Apple have renewed their global patent licensing agreement, with Qualcomm announcing the deal without providing new details. Adobe is expanding creative tool access to Google Gemini and bringing Acrobat to Claude.
