Saudi Arabia said operations at several energy facilities in the kingdom's south were halted after attacks ignited fires, the latest escalation in the region bordering Yemen. The strikes took place on Tuesday and wounded a number of people, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported, citing officials at the energy ministry that it didn't identify. It didn't name any of the facilities.

The Saudi energy ministry and Saudi Aramco didn't have any further comments.
