Tottenham have completed two signings from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, bringing in winger Mykhailo Mudryk on a season-long loan and defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a permanent deal worth up to £12m. The agreement for Mudryk includes an option to make the move permanent for £75m. The 25-year-old Ukraine international reunites with head coach Roberto de Zerbi, who managed him at Shakhtar Donetsk before his £61m move to Chelsea in 2023. Mudryk, who scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 73 games for Chelsea, recently resolved a doping case with the Football Association but has not played competitively since November 2024. De Zerbi said he knows exactly what Mudryk can bring, praising his speed and one-vs-one ability.

Adarabioyo, 28, becomes Spurs' 10th summer signing as the club's spending surpasses £300m. The centre-back, who made 70 appearances for Chelsea since joining from Fulham in 2024, will replace Kevin Danso following his loan move to Sunderland. Adarabioyo cited De Zerbi's courageous playing style as a key factor in his decision. Spurs moved for both players after failing to sign Iliman Ndiaye and Cody Gakpo.
