The Little League Baseball World Series is underway in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, with MLB players from the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers heading there for the Little League Classic on ESPN. Over 15 current and former major leaguers shared advice that shaped their careers and what they'd tell young players today.

Bobby Witt Jr. emphasized working hard and staying humble, while Riley O'Brien stressed enjoying the game so it never feels like a job. James Wood recalled his coach's advice to hit to the middle of the field. Brady Singer and Matt McLain highlighted having fun and controlling effort and attitude. Nick Martinez played as if someone was always watching. Don Mattingly remembered his coach Pete Studer joking about wanting tickets. Max Meyer, Hunter Goodman, CJ Abrams, Byron Buxton, and Cade Smith all echoed themes of positivity, controlling controllables, being a good teammate, and trusting the process.

As major leaguers, their advice shifts slightly. Foster Griffin warned: "Don't dig holes in the outfield and pay attention." Singer urged kids to embrace natural abilities. McLain cautioned against taking it too seriously with early technology like TrackMan. Drake Baldwin, Chase Burns, Bryan Baker, and Smith all advocated for multi-sport participation, avoiding early specialization, and prioritizing academics.
