Kagi adds setting to remove paywalled links from results

Kagi Search has rolled out a series of updates, most notably a new setting for removing paywalled links from search results automatically. A revamped Stocks widget should appear more often when you need it, now displays exchange-traded funds in addition to stocks, and features a price chart with animations between time windows that instantly contextualize how big price fluctuations are compared to the wider story.

Kagi Assistant's everyday use just got smoother. User messages now render links, Markdown, and LaTeX. Search works across all your threads, sortable by recency or alphabetically, with "/" to filter by folder. You can also choose whether temporary threads stick around for 24h, 7 or 30 days, all within a calmer, easier-to-scan settings experience.

Earlier, on July 30th, 2026, Kagi announced official native Kagi Assistant apps for iOS and Android. Users can ask a question, explore the web, work with files, conduct in-depth research, or choose from leading AI models, all from their phone, with threads and Custom Assistants staying with you so you can pick up wherever you left off.

Other additions include reporting an assistant response directly from the conversation—full threads shared with Kagi are deleted after 30 days—exporting or deleting all threads at once, a polished search results page with clearer controls, and a currency conversion widget for exchange rates right in your search results.
