Hi! Every month the "Who Wants to Be Hired?" and "Who's Hiring?" threads appear on Hacker News, and I thought there should be a match maker for these two threads. So I had abacus.ai build one. The methodology is simple: data is extracted from posts using an LLM, matches are scored based on salary, domain experience, remote/onsite preferences, etc., and incompatible postings are filtered out (e.g., 'looking for remote work' vs. 'onsite only').

The result is two views: jobs-by-user and user-by-jobs.
