Control Resonant arrives seven years after the original, casting players as Dylan Faden, brother of missing Director Jesse Faden. The Hiss has breached the Oldest House and spread across Manhattan, forcing Dylan to search for answers using the melee-focused Aberrant weapon across large, interconnected maps.

Powered by Remedy's Northlight engine, the game supports ray tracing, path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, and frame generation via DLSS and FSR. Notably, Intel's XeSS is absent. TechPowerUp tests performance across popular PC handhelds including the ASUS ROG Ally, Steam Deck OLED, and Lenovo Legion Go, providing optimized settings for each device.

The review evaluates how the visually demanding sequel scales on portable hardware, continuing the legacy of the original Control which was known for steep system requirements.
