At CES, TP-Link unveiled the Archer BE670/BE12000, a new tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router set to launch next week. This device targets the growing demand for high-speed home networking. It features a 2x2 6 GHz radio, 4x4 5 GHz radio, and 2x2 2.4 GHz radio, delivering a combined speed of BE12000.

The 6 GHz and 5 GHz bands reach 5765 Mbps, while the 2.4 GHz band hits 688 Mbps. Supporting 320 MHz wide channels on the 6 GHz band, it utilizes six external antennas for a signal-boosting array, covering approximately 3000 square feet. Essential Wi-Fi 7 standards like MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and MLO are included.

For wired connections, it offers a 10 Gbps WAN/LAN port, a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port, three Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a USB 3.0 Type-A port with Samba support for network file sharing. Priced at $299.99 MSRP, it is already available on Amazon US with a $50 discount, matching the price of the less powerful BE600.
