The Behemoth V2: 135% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

The Behemoth V2, the latest 135% mechanical gaming keyboard, has received its second design update signaling an imminent launch. The layout is finalized as a full 104-key board with a built-in 32-key gamepad positioned left of the main alpha section.

As expected, The Behemoth V2 is comically large at 9.4 lbs (4.2 kg) and measuring 609 × 177 mm with 25 mm height. The weight stems from its CNC aluminium case, recently adjusted with more material to reduce cost. Pricing remains unfinalized but the designer targets $400-500. It's smaller than the 173% Hyper7 R4 but still a desk-dominating presence.

Beyond size, The Behemoth V2 features VIA remapping, hot-swap MX-style switches, four programmable rotary knobs above the numpad, and a tilted gamepad for ergonomic mousing space. It runs QMK/VIA firmware on dual RP2040 controllers with a split PCB design, offering N-key rollover and per-key RGB.

The developer plans direct sales rather than a group-buy, despite being a one-person operation. Specs include anodized 6061-T6 aluminum frame with mix-and-match colors, magnetic feet, and a unique "Rage quit" ALT+F4 key with custom audio.
