Samsung Electronics announced its highest-ever quarterly revenue and operating profit for Q4 2025, reaching KRW 93.8 trillion and KRW 20.1 trillion, respectively. This marks a 9% increase in revenue and a significant boost in profitability. The company’s Device Solutions division drove this growth, achieving record highs in memory business revenue and operating profit. This success was attributed to expanded sales of high-value-added products like HBM memory and a surge in market prices.

The Device eXperience (DX) Division, however, saw a decline in revenue due to reduced launch effects from new smartphone models and intense market competition. Despite this, Samsung maintained a strong focus on R&D, investing KRW 10.9 trillion in the quarter, setting a full-year record of KRW 37.7 trillion. Looking ahead, Samsung aims to capitalize on the growing demand for AI and server products, emphasizing high-performance offerings to drive further growth.

For 2026, Samsung plans to expand its AI-driven product offerings across its device and service ecosystem. The Memory Business is set to begin delivering HBM4 products this quarter, aiming to reestablish leadership in the high-end HBM market. The company also plans to address the growing demand for AI-related NAND products, focusing on high-performance TLC products. Overall, Samsung’s strategy revolves around maintaining market leadership through differentiated technologies and strong customer partnerships.

Samsung’s strong financial performance and strategic focus on AI and high-performance products position it well to lead the tech industry in 2026. The company’s commitment to R&D and its ability to adapt to market demands will be crucial as it navigates the rapidly evolving semiconductor and mobile markets.
