Digital Vortex Entertainment and Firevolt have announced Salvation Denied, a chaotic co-op building sim where players control mischievous yellow construction robots. The game features a fully physics-driven building system where every block has real weight and affects structural stability. Players must coordinate to build massive experimental structures on a hostile planet under contract for a mysterious client.

A time-limited open playtest is now available on Steam for one week, with the full game launching Fall 2026 on PC and 2027 on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The game supports 1-4 players and emphasizes cooperative play, where teams scramble across unstable constructions using unusual tools like Gravity Guns, Foam Guns, and Jetpacks to manage the chaos.

Large machines add to the mayhem, including a Gravity Tank that can shift entire sections and a construction 3D printer that recycles parts while occasionally tearing structures apart. Environmental disasters like Meteor Showers and Acid Rains force players to improvise quickly. Creative Director Ajven Pabiarzhyn describes it as building with friends where "the best moments happen when the structure starts to wobble and nobody knows if it's about to collapse or somehow survive."
