Discord has announced Server Web Pages to make content from discoverable servers searchable on Google and other search engines. The feature allows publicly available servers — often used for support and announcements — to be indexed more easily by search engines like Google and DuckDuckGo.
Previously, message boards and forums were common for hosting long-form conversations, announcements, and support content. Many of these have migrated to Discord servers, effectively locking valuable information behind a Discord account and making it hard to find. Discord aims to fix this with the new Server Web Pages update.
The update expands existing Server Web Pages by adding automated summaries of ongoing conversations and allowing admins to push specific content to web pages. Starting November 16, 2026, these changes will roll out, with admins able to opt out by labeling their server as a community server instead. Fandoms, content creators, and indie game developers can benefit by making channels easy-to-find resources.
Discord will also make actual messages and channels discoverable via Server Pages. From mid-December 2026, answers to member questions in public channels will appear in web searches. Admins can control which channels participate, and users can choose to share or hide their content from public searches.
