Discord will soon make public server messages searchable on Google, allowing anyone to find conversations within Discoverable Servers. Starting November 16, 2026, all Discoverable Servers will have a Server Web Page displaying summaries of public channel discussions. Some messages may appear in web search beginning mid-December 2026.
Admins can opt channels out of web presence starting today in Server Settings > Web Presence. Users also control message visibility via User Settings > Data and Privacy. The feature aims to connect users with answers from the 63,000 existing Discoverable Servers covering topics like speedrunning and language learning, though private servers, DMs, and GDMs remain unaffected.
Server Web Pages may display channel summaries and discussion snippets, but usernames and avatars will not accompany messages. Admins have granular control over which channels participate in web indexing.
