OpenMouse is a new, open-source, browser-based control panel designed for gaming mice, aiming to be hardware-agnostic. It utilizes WebHID, ensuring compatibility across macOS, Linux, and Windows with Chromium-based browsers. This eliminates the need for manufacturer-specific software to adjust settings like button mapping, sensor options, and MCU configurations.

While still in early development and not yet publicly available, the OpenMouse team has announced support for brands including WLMouse, Endgame Gear, Pulsar, and Logitech. Notably, the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike is listed, with upcoming support for Logitech's HITS inductive switch and haptics technology.

The project focuses on "safe" settings, with the current demo UI displaying battery levels, firmware version, and connectivity mode. Users can adjust DPI, report rate, lift-off distance, and motion sync. Future plans include wireless configuration and offline configuration capabilities. An early access test launch is anticipated soon, and the team welcomes feature and device support requests via Discord and GitHub.
