Rumors surrounding NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 50 Super series GPUs have resurfaced, appearing in listings within the Seasonic PSU calculator. Previously, reports suggested an indefinite postponement of these "Super" cards. The current indications point to three initial variants: the RTX 5080 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, and RTX 5070 Super. An RTX 5060 Super variant has not yet appeared.

The Seasonic data also provides estimated Total Graphics Power (TGP) figures. The RTX 5080 Super is listed at 415 W, a 55 W increase over the standard RTX 5080. The RTX 5070 Ti Super is expected to draw 350 W, up 50 W from the 5070 Ti, and the RTX 5070 Super is rated for 275 W, a 25 W bump from the original RTX 5070. These power increases are more significant than those seen with the previous generation's Super refreshes.

These higher power draw figures suggest potential upgrades in CUDA, RT, and Tensor cores, along with faster memory, necessary to maintain or improve clock speeds. The reappearance of these cards, despite earlier cancellations and rumors of delays for the RTX 60 series, indicates NVIDIA may still be planning a refresh for its high-end Ada Lovelace architecture GPUs. This could offer consumers more powerful options, albeit with increased power consumption requirements.
