NVIDIA unveiled major updates to its GeForce NOW cloud gaming platform during GDC 2026, focusing on software improvements and enhanced VR performance. The company is introducing in-app labels for Xbox and Ubisoft+ subscribers, making it easier to identify which games are available through their active subscriptions. These labels will appear directly on game art within the GeForce NOW app.

Account linking capabilities are expanding with planned GOG integration and library syncing in the coming months, following the Gaijin single sign-on integration announced at CES. For VR users, NVIDIA is boosting streaming frame rates from 60 FPS to 90 FPS starting March 19 for Ultimate users with Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest headsets. This upgrade aims to improve responsiveness and smoothness during VR sessions.

The GeForce NOW library is growing with high-profile releases including "Control Resonant" from Remedy and "Samson: A Tyndalston Story" from Liquid Swords. The platform's Install-to-play feature is also adding select Xbox titles like Double Fine Productions' "Brutal Legend" and Compulsion Games' Contrast, giving users more flexibility to download and install owned games.
