LG Electronics (LG) launched the LG xboom Blast, a premium portable Bluetooth party speaker for outdoor use. It features 220-watts of output, 36 hours of battery life, and IP68-rated durability. Designed for beach days, camping, and backyard gatherings, it combines power, portability, and intelligent audio tech.

The speaker uses AI Sound to adapt to environments and Space Calibration Pro for optimal playback. Will.i.am tuned its xboom Signature Sound, delivering rich audio via two 5.25-inch woofers and 20-millimeter tweeters. LG xboom Blast also supports Auracast for multi-speaker setups and has a durable, backpack-friendly design.

It received a 2026 Red Dot Design Award for its outdoor-focused aesthetics and functionality. "People spend more time outdoors, and music enhances those moments," said Lee Jeong-seok, head of LG’s Audio Business Division. The speaker will roll out in select markets this month.
