Hello Games has launched the Remnant update for No Man's Sky, introducing a fully operational gravity gun to the space exploration game. This marks the first major update of 2026, the game's 10th anniversary year, following a transformative 2025 that saw both Worlds Part II and Voyagers released.

Players can now wield the Gravitino Coil, a powerful anti-gravity module for their multi-tool that turns the game into a physics playground. The device allows players to grab, toss, and carefully transport large objects across alien landscapes. Salvage and debris scattered across planets can be collected and recycled for rare resources.

The update adds new construction options including trucks, tipping flatbeds, and haulers for transporting materials to industrial yards. Players can work solo or join salvage crews with friends to search for wrecks, load cargo, and haul across the landscape for rewards. The gravity gun mechanic creates a new tactile gameplay loop that expands No Man's Sky's already vast sandbox.
