The global NAND Flash market saw explosive growth in Q1 2026, with the top five suppliers reporting combined revenue of $38.9 billion, an 83.7% quarter-over-quarter surge. This unprecedented spike stems from exponential demand for enterprise SSDs driven by AI server infrastructure development and persistent HDD shortages that shifted orders to QLC solutions.

Samsung maintained its market leadership position with $13.51 billion in NAND revenue, a staggering 104.7% QoQ increase. SK hynix Group secured second place with $7.53 billion (44.6% growth), while Kioxia, Micron, and Sandisk each generated approximately $5.96 billion, all benefiting from elevated ASPs driven by constrained supply and robust server demand.

Looking ahead, the supply-demand imbalance is expected to persist throughout 2026 as major suppliers add virtually no new production capacity. With AI-related demand remaining strong, NAND Flash products featuring 200+ layers will establish market dominance this year. Production resources will continue focusing on server storage applications, accelerating high-capacity QLC enterprise SSD adoption.
