MSI is expanding its server offerings with platforms powered by 6th Gen AMD EPYC Server CPUs, targeting AI, cloud, HPC, and virtualization workloads. The new portfolio includes SP7 and SP8 designs, catering to different deployment needs.

SP7 platforms offer maximum density and performance with up to 256 cores and 512 threads per processor, ideal for performance-driven deployments. SP8 platforms provide a balanced mainstream option with up to 128 cores and 256 threads per processor. The range encompasses liquid-cooled GPU servers, multi-node platforms, and enterprise servers.

"MSI's latest server portfolio powered by 6th Gen AMD EPYC Server CPUs gives organizations the platform range to build around performance, density, efficiency, and serviceability as their infrastructure evolves," stated Danny Hsu, General Manager of MSI's Enterprise Platform Solutions. MSI will showcase the CD270-S4091-X2 multi-node server at AMD Advancing AI 2026.
