ASRock Rack Servers Get 6th Gen AMD EPYC Power

ASRock Rack Inc. has announced support for the new 6th Gen AMD EPYC 9006 Series processors, unveiled at AMD Advancing AI 2026 in San Francisco. The company will showcase its upcoming server platforms optimized for these processors, highlighting their commitment to enterprise AI, cloud, and HPC workloads.

The 6th Gen AMD EPYC 9006 Series processors are designed for the growing demands of agentic AI, offering up to 256 cores, 5 GHz frequencies, and PCIe Gen 6 connectivity. These advancements aim to enhance AI agent scalability, host-node throughput, and GPU utilization.

At the AMD Advancing AI 2026 event, ASRock Rack will feature platforms like the VENICED16-2L+ motherboard and the 2U24E-VENICE server system. "With 6th Gen AMD EPYC Server CPUs powering our next-generation platforms, we are helping customers build scalable, resilient solutions for AI, cloud, and enterprise computing," stated Weishi Sa, President of ASRock Rack. The company will also display other AI server systems, including those powered by AMD Instinct MI355X and MI350P.

ASRock Rack's presence at the July 22-23 event in San Francisco aims to provide a glimpse into their next-generation server portfolio and discuss future product developments.
