MSI IPC has unveiled the MS-CF27, a 3.5" single-board computer targeting industrial and embedded markets. This fanless design integrates Intel Alder Lake N, Twin Lake N, and Amston Lake processors, enabling efficient performance for edge computing, automation, and machine vision. The board supports 32GB DDR5 memory via a single SO-DIMM slot, ensuring robust multitasking. Triple display options—HDMI, DisplayPort, and LVDS/eDP—allow up to three independent monitors, ideal for control systems or digital signage.

With 4x Intel 2.5G Ethernet ports, the MS-CF27 delivers high-speed networking for industrial communication. Additional I/O includes multiple USB ports, up to 6 serial COM interfaces, and GPIO headers, enabling seamless integration with sensors and automation tools. Storage flexibility comes via M.2 M/B/E Key slots for Wi-Fi, NVMe, or expansion cards. Its 12V–24V DC power input ensures compatibility with diverse industrial setups, eliminating the need for bulky power supplies.

The MS-CF27’s standout feature is its balance of performance and ruggedness. Designed for edge computing gateways, it processes data locally, reducing latency in smart factories or transportation systems. Its compact form factor and low power consumption make it suitable for space-constrained environments, from factory floors to smart cities. MSI IPC positions this as a turnkey solution for developers prioritizing reliability and scalability.

Targeting system integrators and industrial OEMs, the MS-CF27 addresses demand for modular, future-proof embedded platforms. By combining modern Intel architecture with industrial-grade I/O, it bridges the gap between traditional PCs and specialized hardware. This launch underscores the growing market for compact, high-performance solutions in automation and IoT ecosystems.
