Maxsun has unveiled its new MS-Terminator B850M PRO II WIFI7 motherboard, designed for the latest AMD Ryzen processors. Despite its microATX form factor, it boasts a robust 12+2+1 VRM capable of supporting up to 300W CPUs, ensuring compatibility with high-end processors like the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This makes it a compelling option for compact gaming rigs.

Connectivity is a major focus, with Wi-Fi 7, 2.5G Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.4 included. It also features two PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots and one PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot for storage. The board supports up to 192GB of DDR5-8000 memory across four DIMM slots. Realtek's RTL8125D 2.5 Gb Ethernet and MTK MT7825 Wi-Fi 7 are used.

For expansion, the board includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot. There's also support for up to 16 USB ports. The new BIOS is also updated with a redesigned user interface. Maxsun hasn't announced pricing or a release date, but the board's features suggest a focus on both performance and modern connectivity in a smaller package.
