LG Display unveiled its next-generation OLED technologies at SID Display Week 2026, presenting solutions optimized for the AI era. The world's leading display technology company is showcasing third-generation Tandem OLED with 18% lower power consumption and more than twice the lifespan of previous generations. This proprietary technology is organized into three exhibition zones at the Los Angeles Convention Center event.

The automotive-focused Tandem OLED panel delivers 1,200 nits brightness and maintains performance for over 15,000 hours without degradation. LG Display is also making its P-OLED solution for humanoid robots public debut, leveraging automotive-grade durability for physical AI applications. The company sees its automotive OLED technology as ideal for the robotics sector due to its durability, high brightness, and long life.

For consumer electronics, LG Display is highlighting OLED TV panels with peak brightness of 4,500 nits and ultra-low reflectance of 0.3%. Their gaming segment features a 27-inch 720 Hz OLED panel recognized as Display of the Year, while the IT segment introduces a 16-inch Tandem OLED optimized for AI laptops with extended battery life. The automotive concept car includes a 57-inch P2P panel and a 32-inch Slidable OLED.
