LG Display posted Q1 2026 revenues of KRW 5,534 billion, a 23% quarter-over-quarter decline but maintaining profitability for three consecutive quarters. The company's operating profit reached KRW 146.7 billion, a 338% increase year-on-year despite widening net losses to KRW 576 billion.

OLED technology proved to be the key growth driver, accounting for 60% of total revenues, a 5 percentage point increase from last year. This strategic focus on premium displays resulted in a 55% year-on-year increase in average selling price per area, with IT panels representing 37% of sales while automotive panels captured 10% of the market.

Sung-hyun Kim, CFO at LG Display, emphasized the company's strengthening competitiveness in high-spec products. The manufacturer plans to maintain technological differentiation across all business segments while expanding its gaming product lineup to capitalize on the monitor market's transition to OLED technology.
