Keychron is teasing a new fingertip mouse concept based on its G6 HE gaming mouse. This "fingertip variant" features a "chopped off" back to reduce weight and improve compactness. The concept retains the G6 HE's removable battery, HE switches, and programmable side buttons.

To further minimize weight and optimize balance, the battery has been repositioned forward in the shell. Keychron estimates the fingertip G6 HE would weigh approximately 30 g, with a potential for 23 g in wired mode without the battery.

Keychron is actively seeking community feedback on the design before committing to tooling, indicating that the concept is not yet finalized. Suggestions for improvements, such as a pinky rest, lower click buttons, and asymmetrical design elements, are being considered. This move suggests Keychron is committed to exploring radical design changes for its peripherals.
