Keychron is refreshing its compact M4 fingertip gaming mouse with MagOpt switch technology and new retro color options. The updated M4 will feature the same MagOpt switches introduced with the G6 HE, along with Frosted Lavender, Frosted Ice, Frosted Smoke, and Frosted Mint colorways. The current M4 model uses a PixArt PAW 3950 sensor and standard Huano mechanical switches, though Keychron has not confirmed whether the refreshed version will include the newer PAW 3955 sensor or open-source firmware.

Pricing for the M4 MagOpt edition has not been announced, but based on the regular M4 8K priced at $69.99 and the upcoming G6 HE expected around $90, the new version will likely fall between those price points. The compact mouse is designed specifically for fingertip grip users, maintaining its unorthodox ergonomic approach while upgrading its switch technology and aesthetics.
