Intel's Core Ultra 200 Plus Arrow Lake-S Refresh processors are reportedly set to launch in March or April, with review embargoes lifting on March 23 at 6 a.m. PST. The HXL/9550pro leak reveals that desktop models including the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Ultra 5 250K, and Ultra 5 250KF will be available for evaluation that Monday. Interestingly, the leak doesn't mention any embargo for laptop -HX variants, suggesting mobile chips may follow a different timeline.

This announcement comes after Intel surprised CES 2026 attendees by focusing on Panther Lake-H mobile chips instead of the anticipated Arrow Lake Refresh unveiling. The company has remained quiet about desktop refreshes throughout early 2026, though ASUS recently announced BIOS support updates for the upcoming CPUs. The Core Ultra 5 250K Plus has been particularly mysterious, with recent benchmarking activity and premature e-tail listings appearing alongside rumors of its flagship sibling's cancellation.

Late last week, reports emerged that Intel had removed the 24-core Ultra 9 290K Plus from the launch lineup, leaving only three models in the refresh. Pricing information has also leaked, with the Ultra 7 270K Plus listed at $357.12, Ultra 5 250K at $245.92, and Ultra 5 250KF at $227.38. The March 23 embargo suggests Intel is preparing for a retail launch shortly after reviews publish.
