Intel has appointed Aparna Bawa as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal & People Officer. Bawa will report directly to CEO Lip-Bu Tan and oversee Intel's global legal, ethics, compliance, people, and culture organizations as the company accelerates its transformation agenda. She joins Intel from Zoom, where she served as chief operating officer during a period of rapid growth.

Prior to Zoom, Bawa held senior legal and leadership roles in the technology industry, building expertise across corporate governance, global compliance, employment, M&A, and organizational transformation. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan praised Bawa's "rare combination of operational rigor, business judgment, and people-first leadership" that will help build "a stronger, more agile Intel" during a critical transformation period.

Bawa will join Intel in May and be responsible for strengthening the company's legal and compliance foundation, advancing a high-performance culture, and ensuring the people strategy supports long-term business priorities. Her appointment underscores Intel's continued focus on strengthening leadership and accountability as the company advances its transformation under Tan's leadership.
