Intel has recruited Eric Demers, a seasoned GPU architect who spent nearly 14 years at Qualcomm, most recently as senior vice president of engineering. Demers announced his move to Intel last week, confirming he will start work immediately. Demers brings deep industry experience, having previously served as a corporate VP and CTO at AMD's graphics division before his Qualcomm tenure.
