Intel pushed its latest Arc GPU driver, version 101.8724 WHQL, into the market today. The update unlocks full gaming support for the newly unveiled Core Series 3 Wildcat Lake processors, which house up to six CPU cores and two Xe3 GPU cores. Over 70 laptop designs are slated to ship with the pair.

Beyond hardware, the driver brings game‑ready support for Pragmata, addressing flickering in Crimson Desert’s DirectX 12 mode and terrain corruption in No Man's Sky. It also resolves a long‑standing crash in Adobe Premiere Pro when exporting HEVC‑encoded footage, a relief for creators who rely on Intel’s media acceleration for both desktop and mobile users.

The release also patches several stability bugs: Crimson Desert may have flickering plant textures, No Man's Sky can show corrupted terrains, and Fortnite can crash on launch in certain configurations. Users experience fewer interruptions, but Intel notes that some legacy titles still trigger sporadic crashes on older Arc A‑Series cards.

With the driver now available for download, laptop builders and gamers can test the updated performance immediately. Intel’s move signals a broader push to solidify its Arc line against NVIDIA and AMD, offering a competitive option for mid‑range and enthusiast systems for high‑end gaming environments.
