Intel pushed out Arc GPU Graphics Drivers version 101.8860 WHQL today, delivering targeted fixes for several widely-played titles. The update specifically addresses stability and visual corruption issues across multiple Intel GPU product lines, showing the company is actively working through its driver compatibility backlog.

The driver resolves flashing display corruption in Apex Legends across all Arc hardware variants, including both discrete and integrated graphics. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets a path tracing crash fix, while Euro Truck Simulator sees its flickering issues resolved. Battlefield 6 and Street Fighter 6 also receive stability improvements for their respective GPU architectures.

Several games remain problematic, including Mafia: The Old Country, Borderlands 4, and Forza Horizon 6, which still show crashes or visual corruption. Intel recommends users adjust benchmark timeout settings for Puget Bench tests to avoid premature termination.

These incremental updates reflect Intel's ongoing effort to compete in the discrete GPU market, where driver maturity has historically lagged behind NVIDIA and AMD offerings. Each stability patch brings Intel's Arc platform closer to mainstream gaming viability.
