Targus subsidiary Hyper showcased innovative notebook accessories at CES, introducing the HyperSpace Trackpad Pro, claimed as the first premium haptic trackpad designed for Windows. This device offers zero latency, a 240 Hz report rate, and ten-finger pressure sensing, aiming to rival Apple's Force Touch technology. Hyper also revealed the HyperDrive Next USB4 M.2 PCIe enclosure, supporting USB4 V2 and 80 Gbps throughput via an Intel JHL9480 controller.

This enclosure connects not just storage but other M.2 add-in cards, featuring a 25 W power input. Additional products include USB-C hubs supporting triple 4K monitors and 140 W USB PD passthrough, alongside a Thunderbolt 5 Dock. All new hardware utilizes recycled materials, and Hyper introduced safer solid-state power banks with Qi2 fast charging.

These launches signal a significant push in high-performance accessories.
