Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. has launched ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, a bloody sci-fi action adventure available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The game marks the studio's first self-published title and first original IP from director Goichi 'Suda51' Suda in over five years, blending the developer's signature ultra-violent gameplay with a space-time narrative.

Players control Romeo Stargazer, an FBI Space-Time special agent resurrected by his grandfather's hypertechnology after a near-death experience. Armed with an arsenal of guns and melee weapons, Romeo hunts fugitives across a fragmented universe while navigating a limbo between life and death. The story follows his search for his missing girlfriend Juliet through a shattered space-time continuum.

The launch trailer features music from legendary Japanese rap group Scha Dara Parr, whose tracks also appear throughout the game. Suda described the title's origin, explaining that the line "From here on out, you're a dead man" became the game's defining moment and namesake. This release represents a significant milestone for Grasshopper Manufacture as it expands beyond traditional publishing partnerships.
