ESS Technology has unveiled the SABRE ES9292PRO, a fully integrated audio SMART CODEC designed for applications requiring superior signal fidelity. This new codec builds upon the Hyperstream IV architecture, delivering an impressive True DNR of +128dB/+130dB and a THD+N of -118dB for ADC/DAC respectively.

The ES9292PRO integrates a Clock Upsampler and patented Analog PLL to minimize jitter and preserve signal integrity. It also features ESS Technology's 2nd generation Audio Signal Processors (ASP2) on both ADC/DAC paths, allowing for custom audio processing like PEQs, mixers, and dynamic range compression.

The codec supports high sample rates up to 768 kHz and offers flexible I/O options. It is available in a compact 48-pin QFN package.
