A shipping manifest from November 20 reveals an unreleased Dell 16 Premium laptop powered by NVIDIA's N1X system-on-a-chip. This leak surfaced despite Dell recently reviving its XPS naming scheme, suggesting this model may be from an earlier development phase. The filing shows an "ES2" designation, indicating Dell was testing early engineering samples of NVIDIA's silicon.

The N1X SoC is reportedly part of NVIDIA's "Grace Blackwell" family, building on the GB10 Superchip technology found in the DGX Spark AI desktop. Leaks suggest the chip features twenty Arm CPU cores and a powerful iGPU with 48 compute units. This move signals NVIDIA's deeper push into the laptop market, challenging Qualcomm's current dominance with Snapdragon X chips on Windows 11.

Hopeful buyers expected an official unveiling at CES 2026, but the chip was a notable no-show, fueling rumors of delays. A previous report pointed to a revised launch window in late 2026 due to development hurdles. This leak confirms that despite setbacks, NVIDIA and Dell are actively engineering a high-performance Arm-based portable, setting the stage for a major shakeup in the Windows on Arm ecosystem.
