Valve's invite-only beta Deadlock receives its largest content drop yet with the Old Gods & New Blood update. Street Brawl is a fast-paced 4v4 mode with best-of-five rounds. It streamlines the economy by removing farming and resetting resources each round, with players selecting three items from a random pool. This design prioritizes quick, decisive combat over long-term farming strategies.

The update also overhauls the user interface with a more cohesive design, including new damage indicators, a Steam recording timeline, and a reworked settings menu. Visual upgrades continue for the map, with The Cursed Apple receiving another overhaul as the game steadily progresses toward a wider release.
