Cougar today introduced the LQX PRO and LQX Elite lines of all-in-one liquid CPU coolers. The LQX PRO features a tall pump-block with a 3.95-inch square true color IPS LCD. The block also features a 60 mm lateral flow fan that assists in ventilating the area around the CPU socket, which should help cool the CPU VRM and the topmost M.2 NVMe slot.

The LCD features a 720 x 720 pixels resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate, and is fairly bright, at 350 nits. It connects to the system over USB and interfaces with the Cougar Vision software that pulls system monitoring information from ACPI. The cooler includes three VRX120-FB series 120 mm fans, each featuring fluid-dynamic bearings, turning up to 2,500 RPM, pushing up to 65.2 CFM of airflow, at 4.35 mm H₂O static pressure, and 33 dBA maximum noise output.

The LQX Elite is mechanically the same cooler as the LQX PRO, but with two key changes—the LCD makes way for a silicone ARGB diffuser, and the lateral airflow fan inside the pump-block is absent, making this a "lite" variant. For now, both the LQX PRO and LQX Elite only come in one radiator size—360 mm x 120 mm. The company didn't reveal pricing.
