Cherry Xtrfy K63W Pro Debuts Ultra-Wideband 8K Wireless

Cherry Xtrfy is bringing Ultra-Wideband wireless tech to gaming keyboards with the K63W Pro Compact, unveiled at Computex. The peripheral ditches crowded narrow frequency bands in favor of short bursts transmitted across a much wider spectrum. That shift promises more precise signal timing and reduced interference while keeping the wireless link stable even when local airwaves are crowded with competing devices.

The compact 70% frame houses a true 8000 Hz polling rate, meaning the keyboard reports to the PC up to eight times every millisecond in wired and wireless modes. A 6000 mAh battery pairs with low-energy Ultra-Wideband to sustain long gaming sessions without frequent recharging. The gasket-tuned chassis and CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches soften keystrokes and deepen acoustics beyond what slim boards deliver.

Joakim Jansson, CHERRY's Director of Product Management, says extreme polling speeds and gasket construction create a typing feel unexpected for a low-profile board. The K63W Pro arrives in Europe this July for €179.99, then lands in the United States during August at $169.99. Asia availability and local products shown at COMPUTEX 2026 will be announced at a later date.
