Assassin's Creed Shadows Patch Brings PS5 Pro Upscaling and New Gear

Ubisoft rolled out Title Update 1.1.10 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the first major patch since the game’s launch a little over a year ago. Beyond routine bug squashes, the build introduces PSSR 2 support for PS5 Pro owners, promising smoother frame rates and sharper upscaling. It also tweaks audio levels and refines enemy AI behaviors.

The patch also unlocks the Bo staff, previously gated behind the Claws of Awaji expansion, giving every player immediate access to the new melee tool. Switch 2 users gain mouse‑and‑keyboard input, a feature. Additional fixes address UI damage indicators, a stray +100 % stat cap, missing fast‑travel points, and a progression bug that stalled at 97.89 %.

With these updates, Assassin’s Creed Shadows feels more polished across its entire install base, especially for PS5 Pro players who will see the visual boost from PSSR 2. By opening previously gated content and adding mouse‑keyboard support on Switch 2, Ubisoft removes barriers that hampered early adoption. Performance gains are most evident in crowded combat zones where frame stability often slipped, restoring confidence for players exploring the title.
