Arc Raiders, developed by Embark Studios and published by Nexon, has achieved significant commercial success, surpassing 16.3 million units sold globally. This milestone comes as the game approaches its one-year anniversary since its October 2025 launch.

Nexon's recent 2026 Q2 earnings report highlighted the game's impressive performance, with total revenue exceeding ¥88 billion ($552.3 million). The game generated over ¥18.3 billion in revenue in the second quarter alone, demonstrating its "enduring strength."

Nexon intends to leverage the lessons learned from Arc Raiders' success to replicate its achievements with future game launches. The company views this as a "new and potent capability" it plans to "replicate at scale." The upcoming "Frozen Trail" content update for Arc Raiders in October is expected to further boost sales and player retention. Additionally, Embark Studios is reportedly working on two new games in their early development stages.
