Akasa has launched the Pascal MX, an IP65-rated waterproof fanless case designed for Mini-ITX and Thin Mini-ITX motherboards in industrial and outdoor deployments. The aluminum chassis eliminates cooling fans entirely, addressing reliability challenges where dust and moisture typically compromise conventional systems. This makes it ideal for environments where traditional fan-cooled cases frequently fail.

At the heart of the design is Akasa's patented spring-loaded CPU mounting system, which maintains consistent contact pressure across Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, and LGA1200 sockets. The chassis supports Intel Core processors from 10th-14th Generation and Intel Core Ultra (15th Gen) chips at up to 65 W TDP. Heat dissipates passively through external fins, with dedicated thermal modules conducting warmth from both CPU and M.2 2280 SSD into the aluminum structure.

The IP65 protection extends beyond the chassis to include screw-thread locking external cables for HDMI, dual USB 3.0 Type-A, Ethernet, and DC power. An internal 220 W DC-to-DC converter provides multi-rail outputs with built-in over-voltage protection across -25°C to 70°C. Measuring 255.6 x 255.6 x 110.5 mm, the case includes wall-mounting brackets for easy installation on vertical surfaces, control cabinets, and building infrastructure.
