Advantech has launched the EKI-6333BE-4GD, its first industrial-grade Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for mission-critical environments like smart factories and autonomous logistics. The device leverages tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with the new 6 GHz spectrum to deliver up to 5.8 Gbps throughput and deterministic connectivity for demanding applications.

Built for 24/7 industrial operations, the access point features a rugged metal enclosure with passive cooling, operating from -40 to 75°C, and dual 12-48 VDC power inputs for redundancy. Multi-Link Operation across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands enables simultaneous data transmission to reduce latency and packet loss in robotics coordination and real-time video analytics.

The EKI-6333BE-4GD includes an integrated Network Management System for centralized monitoring and supports IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity standards with WPA3 authentication. Four 2.5G RJ45 ports eliminate backhaul bottlenecks for Edge AI and high-bandwidth video applications. Advantech's Jason Chiou emphasized the solution's purpose-built design for autonomous systems requiring network stability and security.
