Acer Japan has notified customers that laptop and desktop PC prices will increase starting February 20, 2026. The Taiwanese multinational announced the price revisions through its Japanese social media channels, citing rising costs for memory and SSD components as the primary driver.

This announcement comes amid a challenging period for the company, which recently faced a German court ruling that halted PC and laptop sales in Germany. The price increases affect Acer's entire product lineup on its official Japanese online store, with current prices remaining available until February 19. The company's gaming brand, Acer Predator, issued identical notifications to local customers.

While most products will see price increases, Acer's Japanese division indicated that a small selection of items will maintain their current prices. The company emphasized its commitment to improving product value despite the cost pressures. At the time of reporting, Acer's regional operations in other markets had not issued similar warnings about impending price changes.
