AAEON has announced the MIX-Q870A1, a Mini-ITX motherboard supporting up to 65W Intel Core Ultra 200S Series LGA 1851 processors (formerly Arrow Lake). The platform leverages an integrated NPU and Xe LPG Graphics for AI acceleration delivering 36 TOPS alongside optimized multitasking and multicore performance.

A standout feature is the 16-lane PCIe Gen 5 slot with bifurcation, configurable via jumper to x16, x8/x8, or x8/x4/x4 for modular expansion. This allows GPU installation for added AI acceleration while reserving lanes for NVMe SSDs, NICs, frame grabbers, or field bus cards. Storage includes an M.2 2280 M-Key (PCIe 4x), M.2 2242 M-Key (SATA), two SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0/1, and an M.2 2230 E-Key for Wi-Fi or NVMe.

Display outputs comprise two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort connectors for 4K@60Hz. Rear I/O offers eight USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, 1GbE (Intel I219-LM) and 2.5GbE (Intel I226-V) LAN. Internal connectors include 8-bit programmable DIO, USB 3.2 Gen 1 header, and 40-pin LVDS/eDP (1080p@60Hz). OS support covers Windows 10/11 64-bit and Ubuntu 24.04.
