AAEON has unveiled the ATX-Q870A, an industrial ATX motherboard designed for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors (formerly Arrow Lake-S). The board supports up to 256 GB of dual-channel DDR5-6400 memory and can accommodate CPUs with up to 125 W TDP, providing up to 24 cores and 24 threads of processing power. Built-in AI acceleration delivers up to 36 TOPS through integrated CPU, GPU, and NPU.

What sets the ATX-Q870A apart is its exceptional expandability. The motherboard features two PCIe Gen 5 and five PCIe Gen 4 slots, allowing simultaneous installation of high-end GPUs, AI accelerators, NVMe storage, and specialized modules like serial cards and sensor interfaces. Storage options include four M.2 slots and support for four SATA drives with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations.

The rear I/O panel offers three 2.5GbE LAN ports, six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and multiple display outputs including two HDMI 2.1 and one DP 1.4a. Additional internal connectors provide three USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 interfaces, five RS-232 serial headers, and 8-bit GPIO. The board supports both Windows 11 and Linux operating systems, making it suitable for industrial automation and high-performance workstation applications.
